What is Engineers Week?
National Engineers Week is an annual celebration dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of engineering and technology in our everyday lives. Founded in 1951, this week-long event highlights the achievements of engineers and inspires the next generation to pursue careers in STEM fields. Engineers Week encourages students and families to explore how engineering shapes our world—from the buildings we live in to the technology we use daily—and demonstrates that engineering is for everyone.
